I've recently started doing a bit more serious walking, so I thought I'd create a section on this newly rediscovered interest.

I have started a list of walks, with downloadable GPS tracks.

It is my intention to climb all of the Welsh Marilyns and my progress is logged here (I haven't set a deadline to complete them all by as it may take me some years!)  To populate the database I was looking for a list of Welsh Marilyns which included basic information including the region, but as I couldn't find one I created my own. You can download it here in .csv format with the following fields: Latitude, Longitude, Name, Height, Region (e.g. 53.068481,-4.076088,Snowdon,1085m,30B).

I have also added hill-bagging pages, with maps, for the Wainwrights and Munros.

Whether I'm climbing mountains to tick off another summit, or taking a more leisurely stroll around the countryside, I keep a log of my walks in the walking diary.
